CONSULTATION

Individual Consultation

  • "The Case"

    • "The Case" is a new consultation program offered to professionals with five years or less postgraduate clinical experience. In this program, Jeff Levy will offer one hour of individual consultation for a fee of $50. "The Case" is offered on Thursdays, from 1-2 pm. Appointments must be scheduled directly with Jeff Levy (773.880.1473 or jlevy@liveoakchicago.com). Individuals may schedule a maximum of four consultation sessions per year, per person, in this program.

  • Other Individual Consultation Services

    • All Live Oak clinicians offer individual consultation upon request. To schedule individual consultation, please contact any of our staff directly. Fees and availability vary by staff person.


    Professional Consultation and Study Groups 2008

    Live Oak's Consultation and Study Groups provide opportunities for clinicians to grow professionally through conversation and activities facilitated by experienced clinicians in the context of collegial support. Each group is offered in a nine-session series, meeting monthly for 1.5 hours. Groups are limited to eight participants per group and CEU are provided for social workers and counselors. All groups will meet at the Live Oak offices at 1300 W. Belmont, Suite 400 in Chicago.

  • Client Centered Psychotherapy (Schneider)

    • Second Tuesdays, 9:30 - 11:00
    15 CEU
    10/14, 11/11, 12/9, 1/9, 2/13, 3/13, 4/10, 5/8, 6/12, 7/10

    Note: This consultation group is aimed at clinicians trained in and practicing from a client-centered orientation. There will be a maximum of five participants.

    Fee: $450, $100 due upon registration, $400 if paid in full prior to start date

  • Enhanced Practice for New Professionals (Schneider)

    • Group 1*: Third Wednesdays, 9:30 - 11

    10/15, 11/19, 12/17, 1/21, 2/18, 3/18, 4/15, 5/20, 6/17, 7/15

    Group 2*: Third Thursdays, 9:30 - 11
    15 CEU
    10/16, 11/20, 12/18, 1/22, 2/19, 3/19, 4/16, 5/21, 6/18, 7/16

    Fee: $350, $100 due at registration, $300 if paid in full prior to start date

    *There will be a maximum of five participants per group. Two groups are offered to make the series accessible to additional new professionals.
