Part-Time Trainers/Consultants
We are always accepting applications for individuals committed to the mission and principles of Live Oak who are also interested in providing training and consultation to other professionals. Ideal candidates will have a graduate degree in a related field (social work, counseling, human development, family therapy, art therapy, music therapy, recreation therapy, etc.) and at least five years postgraduate experience. At least two years experience in a supervisory/administrative role is also required. Ideal candidates will also have extensive experience in public speaking with exceptional oral and written communication skills.
Prospective trainers/consultants should have expertise in at least three of the following: clinical work with individuals/couples/families/groups, program development, supervision and the supervisory relationship, organizational development, board development, cultural competence, conflict management and conflict resolution, trauma and violence, LGBTQ individuals and families, HIV/AIDS, and/or grief and loss.
Payment for part-time trainers/consultants is based on years of relevant experience and the number of training/consultation hours worked per month. Part-time trainers/consultants may attend any Live Oak sponsored training at no cost.
